West Plains Transit Facility
Constructed in a once blighted area of West Plains, the new transit facility addresses Jackie D. Garrett Drive through its incorporation of building signage and landscaped planting beds. This project includes three drive-through bays, a bus wash station, associated offices, and support spaces. The exterior design incorporates a modest material palette, consistent with nearby city structures and a city-wide campus, articulated as they relate to the design of the physical transit bus. This project was funded with an FTA grant.
